I am not only amazed by Jan's vast knowledge, efficiency, professionalism and complete understanding of computer programs, but his patience.  Computer geniuses come a dime a dozen and I have encountered many that know their profession but cannot teach or instruct a client over the phone.  Having the knowledge is easy; however being able to instruct others from a remote location requires patience, knowledge and the ability to communicate on various levels.

Jan is not only extremely patient but also friendly, professional and listens well to what I tell him.  Even though I may not use the correct industry terms to explain what is happening to my computer, he never talks down to me or makes me feel stupid.  He takes my language, turns it around into a question, continues to prod and probe until he receives the information he needs to resolve the problem, and sticks with it until the problem is resolved.  He is the "instructor for dummies" as well as for the experts as he has the ability to change his communication style to fit the competence level of the client he is speaking with. 

In addition to resolving problems I encounter with my computer from a distance, Jan also consults with me regarding proper maintenance, what to do to avoid the same problem from recurring again, what programs are better than others and offers other invaluable information.  I can have the most nerve wrecking problem at hand or I can be in a computer store shopping for an accessory and need some advice.  Jan is just a phone call away.  I recommend him for anyone wanting the best in the business when it comes to knowledge, service and professionalism.
